extremely good and easy chocolate chip cookies

Just tried these and they turned out fabulous...so gooey and chocolatey but not thin or flat. I would add nuts to this, but my kids can't have them. My nine year old daughter can make these almost entirely on her own and they still turn out great.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white "chocolate" chips

How To Make extremely good and easy chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Soften butter at room temperature. Cream with sugars and add eggs, extracts, baking soda and salt. Beat mixture until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Stir in flour, and chocolate and white chips. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges are a little brown.
