1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
2In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, syrup, molasses and vanilla. Mix until well blended.Add the bacon bits. Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into the wet mixture until well blended. Using cookie dough scoop, drop onto greased pan or paper about 2 inches apart.
3Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Cool on wire rack with paper towels underneath.
4While cookies are baking make frosting.Add heated 2 tbls of syrup to powdered sugar. Will be thick consistency. Spread on warm cookies; staying away from edge as frosting will spread on own. Then I take the cooked, broken bacon and dip in syrup and garnish center of cookie.
