This recipe was given to me by my aunt over 40 years ago.

Ingredients

  • Cream - 1 cup sugar with
  • - 1 cup butter, softened
  • - add yolk of 1 egg (unbeaten)
  • - 1 tsp. vanilla
  • - 2 cups flour

How To Make english toffey cookies

  • Step 1
    Mix well and spread dough thinly over about 3/4 of large cookie sheet. Spread over the dough, the white of 1 egg and press in 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans. Bake until golden brown, 40-45 minutes in 300 degree oven.
