How to Make English Tea Cake
- 1Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- 2Grease and flour a small tube pan.
- 3Cream butter and sugar.
- 4Add eggs, beating thoroughly.
- 5Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
- 6Gradually add to butter mixture.
- 7Add vanilla and cherry juice.
- 8Fold in cherries and raisins and bake 1 1/4 hours.
