Ingredients

  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 tsp
    good vanilla
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    rolled oats
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 12 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts (opt)

How to Make Ellie's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar, brown sugar, softened butter.
  2. Mix in peanut butter, vanilla and eggs.
  3. In another bowl, sift together all dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt. Add oats and mix well.
  4. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients til well blended. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Blend well.
  5. Drop with teaspoon onto ungreased cooking sheet pan.
    Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees
