How to Make Eggnog Sugar Sparkles
- Cream sugar and butter together in a large bowl until fluffy. Add egg yolks & eggnog and beat until well mixed.
- Add flour, nutmeg and baking powder to the butter mixture and beat until just blended. Cover and chill for 2-3 hours till firm.
- Pre-heat oven to 400 F. Roll dough into 3/4" balls then roll in colored sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 8-9 minutes or until the bottoms are very lightly browned. Let cool 1-2 minutes then remove cookies and place on a cooling rack till cooled. Store tightly covered.
