Ingredients

  • 2.75 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1.5 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    brandy extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    rum extract
  • SUGAR MIXTURE

  • 1/4 c
    sugar or colored sugar
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg

How to Make Eggnog Snickerdoodles

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In 3 quart mixer bowl combine all cookie ingredients. Beat at low speed, scraping sides of bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 4 minutes).
  3. In small bowl combine sugar mixture; stir to blend.
  4. Shape rounded teaspoonful of dough into 1" balls; roll in sugar mixture.
  5. Place 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake near center of 400 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
