easy snickerdoodles
This is a great last minute recipe. Perfect for those days when you are told at bed-time that junior needs to bring snacks to school tomorrow. You can have an entire batch mixed,baked and packed to go in just under an hour.

Ingredients
- 1/2c cup unsalted butter [1 stick]
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 2/3 cups ap flour
- TOPPING
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make easy snickerdoodles

Step 1Cream butter and sugar,add egg and mix until smooth.

Step 2combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk to mix.

Step 3add dry ingredients to butter/sugar mixture in small batches until fully incorporated.

Step 4roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Spray the bottom of a small juice glass and dip into sugar/cinnamon topping mixture and then gently press each ball of dough until it it 1/4 inch thick.

Step 5bake at 375 degrees for 7-10 minutes (depending on oven) or until edges are lightly brown.
