This is a great last minute recipe. Perfect for those days when you are told at bed-time that junior needs to bring snacks to school tomorrow. You can have an entire batch mixed,baked and packed to go in just under an hour.

  • 1/2c c
    unsalted butter [1 stick]
  • 3/4 c
  • 1 large
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 2/3 c
    ap flour

  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon

How to Make Easy Snickerdoodles


  1. Cream butter and sugar,add egg and mix until smooth.
  2. combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk to mix.
  3. add dry ingredients to butter/sugar mixture in small batches until fully incorporated.
  4. roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Spray the bottom of a small juice glass and dip into sugar/cinnamon topping mixture and then gently press each ball of dough until it it 1/4 inch thick.
  5. bake at 375 degrees for 7-10 minutes (depending on oven) or until edges are lightly brown.
