Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup peanut butter, crunchy
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
How To Make easy peanut butter bars
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350º
-
Step 2Line 9x13 pan with non stick foil. Leaving a 2-inch overhang. After cooling, this makes the bars much easier to pull out of pan.
-
Step 3Cream the brown sugar and butter. Then add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
-
Step 4Gradually add the flour and baking soda. Add milk and Peanut butter and blend.
-
Step 5Stir in Chocolate chips.
-
Step 6Spread dough evenly in prepared pan.
-
Step 7Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Approximately 20 - 25 minutes. Let cool about 20 minutes before cutting.
