easy peanut bars
Eric's week to shop so of course we are out of everything. Yet I needed something to watch the debates with. So I created this six ingredient bar that Eric described as a cross between a peanut log and a payday. I can see we will be having these again.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 - egg
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup bisquick
- 1 cup caramel melting balls (in produce dept by apples)
- 1/3-1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
How To Make easy peanut bars

Step 1Beat butter, sugar and egg together and add bisquick. mix well. pat into a sprayed and floured 8x8 baking dish (if to sticky put in fridge 10 minutes)then flatten and put in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 12-15 minutes. Top will be light golden brown.

Step 2Take out of oven and immediately flatten sides to even with center and pour on the caramel balls distributing them in a single layer over the bars. top with the peanuts and cover with lid or alumium foil until the caramel starts to melt (10 minutes) unwrap and serve warm or cut into 9 bars and cover until you are ready
