I had to come up with a bake sale item at the last minute. These were so easy that I had my 11 year old daughter make them.

Makes about 24 cookies
Ingredients
- - 1 stick softened butter
- - 4 oz cream cheese
- - 1 egg
- - 1 box lemon cake mix
How To Make easy lemon cookies

Step 1Mix softened butter and cream cheese together. Add the egg and combine. Add the cake mix and mix well.

Step 2Roll into walnut size balls and place on a cookie sheet.

Step 3Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Or until done. Cookies will not brown. Remove to a cooling rack and sprinkle with powered sugar. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
