I had to come up with a bake sale item at the last minute. These were so easy that I had my 11 year old daughter make them.

Ingredients For easy lemon cookies

  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 box lemon cake mix

How To Make easy lemon cookies

  • 1
    Mix softened butter and cream cheese together. Add the egg and combine. Add the cake mix and mix well.

    Roll into walnut size balls and place on a cookie sheet.

    Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Or until done. Cookies will not brown. Remove to a cooling rack and sprinkle with powered sugar. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
