How to Make Easy Biscotti

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a medium bowl mix together flour and baking powder, set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together Oil, sugar, eggs and flavoring. Beat till well blended.
Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, and stir by hand until it forms a heavy dough.
Divide the dough in half and roll into 2 logs.
Place logs on parchment lined cookie sheets and press down on each log making them 1/2" thick.
Bake for 20-30 minutes until lightly brown,
Move to a wire rack and cool.
When cool, cut into 1/2 inch slices, place on a lined cookie sheet and bake at 375 on each side for 6-8 minutes or less, depending on how crunchy you like them. Cool, store in a airtight container. Yummy!
  3. This is a very easy biscotti recipe that can be changed very easily, add slivered almonds, change the flavoring to almond, dip the ends or tops into chocolate...just use your imagination!
