My cousin made these last Easter and they were delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup nurella
  • 1 package egg shaped candies e.g. peanut m&ms or jelly beans

How To Make easter cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 3
    Place the milk, vanilla, egg white and salt in a large bowl. Stir to combine well.
  • Step 4
    Add the coconut and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the dough ontl the baking sheet.
  • Step 6
    Form into a nest shape, pressing the center down with your thumb.
  • Step 7
    Bake for 17 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  • Step 8
    Remove from the oven and press the center sown again, I used a melon baller so I didn't nurn myself.
  • Step 9
    Let cookies stand on the baking sheet for 5 minutes or until firm.
  • Step 10
    Remove to a cooling rack and cool completely.
  • Step 11
    Place a tablespoon of Nutella in the center of each nest.
  • Step 12
    Decorate with the egg candies.
