So I get into this "thing" where I have to have peanut butter and chocolate together. I don't always want it in a bar or candy bar. Cookies are an awsome alternative. These are rather tastey!

Ingredients

1 c
flour
1/2 c
sifted unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
baking powder
3/4 c
butter or margarine softened
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla
1/2 c
peanut butter
1 c
white sugar or you can use 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar
2
eggs
1 c
chocolate chips
1 c
peanut butter chips

How to Make Double Chocolate Peanut butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350. I put the oven rack to second lowest position for these. Grease baking sheet.
  • 2In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
  • 3In another bowl, using electric mixer cream together butter, vanilla, peanut butter and sugar(s) until fluffy.
  • 4Beat in eggs until well combined. Then beat in dry ingredients. Mix in chips.
  • 5Drop by tablespoon fulls onto baking sheet, about 2in. apart. Bake for about 10 mins. Cool cookies on racks.
