* More chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or nuts can be added too.

  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 1
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/3 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3 c
    uncooked quick cooking oats
  • 6 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cream together margarine or butter & sugar. Stir in the egg & vanilla. Add dry ingredients (oats & chocolate chips last) and mix throughly.
  2. Drop teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet & bake for 10-12 minutes.
