Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate chunks (2 bars (4oz) cut in chunks hersheys or ghirardelli are my favs)
  • 8 ounces white chocolate (2 bars (4 oz) cut in chunks ghirardelli is the best one )

How To Make double chocolate chunk cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheatat oven 350F. Set two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
    In the mixer, cream sugars and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Then add flour, baking soda and salt. Do not over beat. Then with a spatula or big spoon fold chocolate chunks into cookie dough.
  • Step 3
    Drop spoon fulls into the cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 min.
