Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 4 cups corn flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

How To Make dishpan cookies

  • Sugars, oil, vanilla, and eggs mixed together.
    Step 1
    Cream together brown and white sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Sifted flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
    Step 2
    Sift the flour, salt, and baking soda together.
  • Mixing flour into the wet ingredients.
    Step 3
    Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  • Corn flakes, nuts, and oats folded in.
    Step 4
    Fold in the corn flakes, oats, and nuts.
  • Spoonfuls of batter on a baking sheet.
    Step 5
    Drop by heaping teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Baking the cookies.
    Step 6
    Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (about 10 - 12 min).
