Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 12 tablespoons butter
- 8 - beaten eggs
How To Make diples

Step 1Cut butter into small pieces and work inti flour Beat eggs with electric mixer and add the flour slowly Knead well and put into bowl and cover with damp towel

Step 2Put dough into noodle maker or roll out very thin. Roll out on cornstarch. Cut strips about 4 inches wide with curly cutter. Fry strips in 2 inches of oil. Fry one side and turn over quickly.

Step 3Fold with 2 forks leaving opening.cook until light brown. Place in colander over pan to drain excess oil.

Step 4Prior to serving prepare syrup as follows. 2 cups sugar mixed with 4 cups water, 4 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoons fresh lemon juice and bring to boil .dip cookies into hot syrup . Mix fine nuts and confectioners sugar and sprinkle over syrup covered cookies.
