Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

How To Make delicious banana chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, sift dry ingredients; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Add bananas, vanilla and butter flavoring, mixing until combined. Blend in eggs, one at a time, beating well.
  • Step 4
    Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, half at a time, beating to combine. Fold in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
  • Step 5
    Drop cookie dough by heaping teaspoons on prepared baking sheets.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove to a rack and cool.
  • Step 7
    Store cookies in a covered container up to a week.
