my son first tasted these at the local fair, and brought home the recipe insisting we make them! and boy they were gone before they were even cooled. (note. if you have a couple kids and others who have a sweet tooth, buy at least 2 pkgs. of cookies. you will wish you had.

Ingredients

1 pkg
your favorite oreo cookies
bowl of pancake batter mixed
deep fryer
powdered sugar

How to Make Deep Fried Oreo's

Step-by-Step

  • 1purchase your favorite package of Oreo cookies (we use the regular)
  • 2heat oil to 350-375 degree's or until a drop of batter sizzles in hot oil
  • 3make a batch of your favorite pancake mix (not to thick but not thin, you will decide how much batter you want after the first couple you fry.
  • 4when oil is hot, dip oreo cookie into pancake batter and drop carefully into hot oil, remove when golden brown in color. Place on paper towel covered plate (THESE ARE VERY HOT)
  • 5sprinkle powdered sugar over top. let cool and enjoy.
