This has been my favorite cookie cookie since I was a kid.

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 - eggs
2 1/4 cups flower
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

How To Make darrl rogs famous chocolate cip cookies

Step 1

Peaheat oven to 350degrease. Beat the shortening untill it looks soft. Beat in brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time.

Step 2

With a wooden spoon mix in flour little bits at a time. After all the flour is mixed mix the salt, and baking soda untill soft and not really sticky. When you have everything mixed in stirr in the chocolate chips in and if you want more add more.
Step 3

Place about one tablespoon of dough on a baking sheet about one-two inches apart. Bake for 8-10 min. Or until silty golden edges ( keep an eye on them). Take them out and let them cool for about one min. Now eat then because they are best worm.
