I love traditional shortbreads for tea time. Dark chocolate and butterscotch, who can resist! I made these as pteradactyls, because we have 5 boys, and one on the way! And all boys love dinosaurs; mom and dad too!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, diced
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, finely chopped

Step 1Cream butter and powdered sugar.

Step 2Add in dry ingredients. Continue to beat until moist, sandy mixture.

Step 3With hands, knead into dough form.

Step 4Add finely chopped chips and knead together.

Step 5Cover and refrigerate for an hour.

Step 6Bake at 325 for about 10 minutes.

Step 7Let sit for 2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
