Between my son in law and my 8 yr old granddaughter Danyella, I don't know who is more addicted to the Almond Joy candy bars, lol, so Danyella and I came up w/ this recipe. Sadly, we have to hide them from her dad, haha, they're THAT good!

prep time 15 Min
cook time 14 Min
method Bake
yield 4 dozen small cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 bag 14 oz shredded coconut
  • 1 bag 16 oz. dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped, roasted almonds
  • 1 can 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

How To Make danyella's easy almond joy cookies

  • Step 1
Heat oven to 325. Place parchment paper on a large cookie sheet.
  • Step 2
In large bowl, place all ingredients and using a large spoon, or clean hands, mix well.
  • Step 3
Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out some of the mix and place on parchment paper. Repeat until all mix is scooped out. Slightly flatten each scoop of mix, ( I lightly sprayed a spoon and used the back of it,) and bake between 12 & 14 minutes, depending on your oven. The cookies should be very light brown.
