Ingredients
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 4 tablespoons sugar for sprinkling (more or less)
How To Make danish kringle cookies

Step 1Combine flour, butter and baking powder.

Step 2Add the cream and lemon extract and mix well.

Step 3Divide dough in half. Roll out each into rectangle to about a 1/4 inch thickness on floured surface.

Step 4Cut dough into strips. (try a fluted cutter). Form each strip in a fiqure 8 shape. Sprinkle with sugar.

Step 5Lift onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. WATCH carefully, they burn easily.
