Ingredients
- 2 packages 8 oz. cream cheese room temp.
- 1 pound butter, softened
- 4 - egg yolks, reserve whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups flour
- - powdered sugar
- FILLING:
- 4 - egg whites beaten
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 4 cups ground walnuts
How To Make dad's nut rolls

Step 1mix first 6 ingrediants well and chill over night

Step 2Beat egg whites till stiff add nuts and sugar . Mix well.

Step 3Roll dough onto powder sugar wax paper. Cut into squares. Put filling in corner of each square. Roll to look like a cresant.Put onto sprayed cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or till nicely browned.

Step 4Makes 6 - 8 doz. depends on how big your squares are. Can be frozen.
