Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 cups all purpose flour

How To Make cut-out cookies

  • Step 1
    Cream butter in large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; roll to 1/4-inch thickness and cut with floured cookie cutters. Place cookies on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350*F for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
