Ingredients

- 1 cup plus 2 tbsp. shortening
- 1 cup plus 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 3/4 cups sifted flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup milk

How To Make cry baby cookies

Step 1

Cream shortening then add sugar, molasses and eggs.

Step 2

Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. It makes a big batch, 8 dozen cookies. My Old Recipes
