Absolutely Delicious! A friend of mine made these bite sized cookie's for me to take on a ladies weekend retreat to Mytrle Beach. They were such a huge hit with everyone I have to share her recipe with her blessing of course.You will even eat the crumbs at the bottom of the bag.

Makes 17 dozen
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light brown (packed) sugar
- 1 - egg
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup regular oats (old fashioned)
- 1 cup corn flakes (crushed)
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup nuts (pecan) chopped
How To Make crispy oat cookies

Step 1Preheat Oven 325.Cream butter and sugar and beat well(mixer). Add egg and beat. Add oil and vanilla and mix well; combine flour and soda, and add to cream mixture. Stir in oats, (crushed)corn flakes, coconut, and chopped nuts. Roll in one inch balls, Place on an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with fork. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes. (Light golden color). Once cool place in a zip lock bag to keep freash. Makes 17 dozen.
