Ingredients
- 1 cup butter(2 sticks,preferably unsalted),softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed(light or dark-your choice)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chunks
- 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans (or walnuts)
How To Make crispy chocolate chunk pecan cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350, Lightly grease or line with parchment paper cookie sheets. Sift together flour,soda and salt ans set aside.

Step 2Cream butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat in the flour mixture. Remove beaters and fold chocolate chunks and nuts by hand.

Step 3Drop the mixture by teaspoons onto the prepared pans. Press each cookie down slightly with the palm of your hand to flatten out. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until brown. Cookies will look crisp around the edges. Coll for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool.
