1/2 cbutter, softened

1 csugar

5egg yolks

2 cflour

colored sugar
How To Make crisp butter cookies

1Cream butter and sugar. Blend in yolks. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Dough will be very stiff. On heavily floured surface, roll to 1/8" thickness. Cut into 2 1/2" squares, rectangles or diamonds. For prettier edges, use a pastry wheel. Put 1 1/2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 375 degrees 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned.
