- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 oz. - cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- dash - salt
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- - confectioners sugar to coat

Step 1In a mixing bowl,cream the butter and cream cheese

Step 2Beat in vanilla extract

Step 3Combine the flour,sugar,and salt

Step 4Gradually add to the creamed mixture

Step 5Stir in pecans{dough will be crumbly}

Step 6Shape tablespoons into logs

Step 7Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

Step 8Bake at 375,pre-heated oven,for 12-14 minutes,until light brown
