Cream Cheese cookies- so easy

When I make these cookies for our College Class at church, there's never any leftovers! They really love the orange cookies which amazes me.

  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 pkg
    regular size, yellow or devils food cake mix

How to Make Cream Cheese cookies- so easy


  1. Cream cheese and butter. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add cake mix (dry), 1/3 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  2. Cover. Chill 30 minutes or more. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    Drop by scant teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
  3. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.

    Note: I've used yellow, orange & chocolate mixes & am still trying out different ones & they all are delicious.
