Ingredients

1 stick butter, room temperature
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make cream cheese cookies

Step 1

Put butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl, cream together really well.

Step 2

Now mix in powdered sugar and mix on low speed of mixer. Then add in the egg and the vanilla extract and mix in.
Step 3

Now sift flour baking powder and salt, mix well. Add to creamed ingredients.
Step 4

Scoop out dough medium sized and form balls with hands.
Step 5

Place cookies on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in 375 degree oven, for 10 minutes.
