I especially love to make these yummy cookies because you can make them any color to match the holiday. I always use a white cake mix and roll them in colored sugar or roll them in nuts. I make lots of them at Easter with pastel colored sugars. Have fun with them.

Ingredients
- - 1 box white cake mix or any flavor
- - 1 egg
- - 1 stick soft butter
- - 8 oz. cream cheese
- - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- - powdered sugar
- - nuts can be added before baking, optional
How To Make cream cheese cookies

Step 1Mix all ingredients together except powdered sugar. Chill 2 hours. Roll into balls and then into powdered sugar. Bake at 350 on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes.

Step 2When slightly cooled roll again in powdered sugar.
