my 9 yr old granddaughter alyssa makes these cookies. they always turn out perfect, just like my grandbabies. this is a picture of alyssa. isn't she beautiful? of course she is.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar, cane
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed, cane
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon real vanilla
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sea salt
12 ounces chocolate chips, milk or semisweet

How To Make crazy gramma & alyssa's chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

turn on oven to 375F or 350F if using dark nonstick pans & let it heat up. mix flour, baking soda & salt in a small mixing bowl & set aside.

Step 2

in a large mixing bowl mix with mixer on medium setting the sugars & butter & vanilla. mix till smooth.
Step 3

mix in eggs, 1 at a time.
Step 4

gradually mix in flour mixture.
Step 5

add chocolate chips.
Step 6

using a #24 scoop place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Step 7

place in oven & bake 6-8 minutes or till a nice golden brown.
Step 8

transfer cookies to a cooling rack. store in a cookie jar or a large plastic bag.
Step 9

should make 3 1/2 - 4 dozen cookies providing you can keep the kids out of your dough.
