crazy gramma & alyssa's chocolate chip cookies

my 9 yr old granddaughter alyssa makes these cookies. they always turn out perfect, just like my grandbabies. this is a picture of alyssa. isn't she beautiful? of course she is.

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar, cane
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed, cane
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon real vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 12 ounces chocolate chips, milk or semisweet

Step 1turn on oven to 375F or 350F if using dark nonstick pans & let it heat up. mix flour, baking soda & salt in a small mixing bowl & set aside.

Step 2in a large mixing bowl mix with mixer on medium setting the sugars & butter & vanilla. mix till smooth.

Step 3mix in eggs, 1 at a time.

Step 4gradually mix in flour mixture.

Step 5add chocolate chips.

Step 6using a #24 scoop place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 7place in oven & bake 6-8 minutes or till a nice golden brown.

Step 8transfer cookies to a cooling rack. store in a cookie jar or a large plastic bag.

Step 9should make 3 1/2 - 4 dozen cookies providing you can keep the kids out of your dough.
