This is my last batch of cookies for Christmas holidays 2010. My first batch was the Oreo Cookie Balls; 2nd batch was Sugar Crusted Meltaways.

I love cranberries and am always looking for recipes that include them.

Ingredients

How to Make Cranberry Shortbread Cookies 3 Ways

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  2. Mix in flour a little at a time until combined
  3. Stir in cranberries
  4. Form dough into 1 inch balls.
  5. Use the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar, flatten balls on cookie sheet making rounds 2 inches in diameter.
  6. Bake 12 - 14 minutes.
  7. Cookies can be served plain; dusted with powdered sugar when cooled slightly; or dipped in vanilla bark when completely cooled.
