Yes, as you know I love cranberries and this is the perfect time of year for them!! As usual I have plenty !! So this is a nice easy recipe to whip up with them !!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    (1 stick) butter,softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    orange juice
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 1/2 c
    coarsely chopped cranberries

How to Make Cranberry Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees and grease 1 or 2 cookie sheets.
  2. Mix in large bowl: butter & sugar, beat to cream together.
    Add milk, orange juice, and egg, beating after each to blend.
  3. Medium bowl: Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda ~~ Sift them into butter, sugar mixture.
    Stir to blend, add walnuts and cranberries.
  4. Stir to blend and drop by spoon fulls to cookie sheets.
    Or you can roll them in balls and cook them a little longer. 10=15 minutes in oven or longer for roll ups.
