My family and friends love these cookies and request these all the time. When I ask what do you want for your birthday, the answer is usually Cow patties!!!

  • 2 c
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine
  • dash(es)
  • 3 1/2 c
    quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter, crunchy or plain
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla flavoring

How to Make Cow Patties (No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies)


  1. Mix first 5 ingredients in 3 qt sauce pan. Stir until well blended. On Medium heat, heat to a rolling boil. Boil for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and add oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until peanut butter is melted and all ingredients are well blended.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. When set, Enjoy!
