cornflake cookies

One of my dearest friends, grandma made me these cookies for years and I finally got up the courage to start making them myself. They are so addicting, you can't eat just one!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup karo corn syrup (light)
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy).
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 6 cups cornflakes

How To Make cornflake cookies

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup and bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Once it is to a boil, take off of stove and cool for 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add peanut butter and vanilla flavoring and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Add the cornflakes last. Mixture will be very stiff, but oh so good!
  • Step 5
    Butter your hands and roll into balls and drop onto wax paper or, use a scooper and drop onto wax paper.
  • Step 6
    Cool completely and Enjoy!
