- 20 ounces can fruit cocktail, juice and all
- 17 ounces key lime preium cookie mix,(pillsbury) use dry
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

How To Make cookie fruit cobbler
-
Step 1This can be made in a 9x13-inch baking dish or in a cast iron skillet;like I did. Heat oven to 350^.
-
Step 2To my skillet I added the sugar and butter over low heat ; stir until butter has melted.(For 9x13- melt together in microwave then spread evenly in bottom of baking dish)
-
Step 3Empty the can of fruit cocktail ;juice and all evenly into pan. Sprinkle the dry cookie mix over the fruit. sprinkle nuts on top. Melt the remaining butter in microwave and drizzle completely over cookie mix. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla bean ice cream. Very rich and delicious!
-
Step 4NOTE: Any diced fruit or pie filling or mixture can be used. Any dry cookie mix can be used. I just happened to have this one.
-
Step 5This is all that is left, so I moved it to a smaller dish. LOL
