Super yummy! One of my favorite "go to" desserts for food days at work or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • BROWNIES
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
  • COOKIE DOUGH FILLING
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temp
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • GLAZE
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

How To Make cookie dough brownies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar cocoa and salt. Add oil, eggs and vanilla; beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in walnuts if desired. Pour mixture into a greased 13x9x2" pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until brownies test done. Cool completely.
  • Step 3
    In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Add milk and vanilla. Beat in flour. Spread over cooled brownies and chill until firm.
  • Step 4
    For glaze, melt chocolate chips and shortening in a saucepan until smooth. Spread over filling. If desired, sprinkle with walnuts while the chocolate is still soft. Allow chocolate to cool before cutting brownies.
