congo cookies
This was my Grandma Bure's recipe, and she made it for me when I was a little girl. Yep, I loved chocolate even then. I remember making this in the kitchen with my mom and with my own children as they were growing up. It remains a family favorite. Recently, I made four batches that were consumed by my daughter's college soccer team. They didn't last long.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
These congo cookies are amazing! Pretty rich, they're like a chocolate chip cookie bar. Thick and buttery, it's packed with chocolate chips. Easy to make, the tops have a little crunch, and inside is like a gooey chocolate chip cookie. Yum!
