1 pkg
white cake mix
1 c
water
1/3 c
vegetable oil
3 large
egg whites
3/4 tsp
almond extract

(14 ounce) pkgs sweetened flaked coconut

How to Make Coconut Macaroons

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place the cookie mix, water, oil, egg whites, and almond extract in a large bowl. Blend with an electric mixer set on medium speed for 2 minutes until blended. Stir in the coconut with a wooden spoon.
  • 2Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. You can either slightly grease the pans or use parchment paper.
  • 3Oven should be preset to 350 degrees. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on sheets, then remove cookies with spatula to wire racks to cool completely.
