Ingredients
- 1 package white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large egg whites
- 3/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 - (14 ounce) pkgs sweetened flaked coconut
How To Make coconut macaroons

Step 1Place the cookie mix, water, oil, egg whites, and almond extract in a large bowl. Blend with an electric mixer set on medium speed for 2 minutes until blended. Stir in the coconut with a wooden spoon.

Step 2Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. You can either slightly grease the pans or use parchment paper.

Step 3Oven should be preset to 350 degrees. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on sheets, then remove cookies with spatula to wire racks to cool completely.
