Coconut Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookie

  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 2 stick
    butter, room temperature
  • 2 large
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp
    coconut extract
  • 12 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c
    sweetened flaked coconut
  • 4 1/2 oz
    container of macadamia nuts roughly chopped

How to Make Coconut Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookie


  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. In a bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt mix with fork to combine.
  3. In a large bowl blend together sugar and butter until mixed (about 3-5 minutes)
  4. Add eggs one a time mixing after each addition, add vanilla and coconut extracts and mix
  5. Add flour mixture in 3 steps, mixing to combine in between each addition
  6. Add in flaked coconut, macadamia nuts and chocolate chips and mix in by hand until well incorporated
  7. Drop tablespoond of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart
  8. Bake for approximately 18-22 minutes until golden
