This is my original recipe,a combination of 3 other recipes. I put this together to enter into the JAP cookie contest. 2012 It is quick and very easy. Only 9 ingredients. And a delicious contender.

Ingredients For coconut cinnamon nut- cookie squares

1/2 cbutter

1/2 cmargarine

1 csugar
-
1egg, separated
-
1-1/2 Tbspcinnamon
-
1 tspsalt
-
1-1/2 cchopped walnuts
-
1 ccoconut
-
2 cflour
How To Make coconut cinnamon nut- cookie squares

1Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 16x11x1 inch pan. -
2Cream butter, margarine and sugar. Add egg yolk,sifted flour, cinnamon and salt. Press batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle coconut over the batter.

3Beat egg white until foamy. Spread lightly over the coconut with a spatula. Press nuts on top of the coconut,press down onto the beaten egg white.

4Bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 48 delicious squares.
