coconut chocolate chip cookies

This little cookie is sweet, chewy, and pretty to look at. Also super easy to make. I found this recipe on line and adjusted it to my family's taste. Didn't need much adjustment. I take these cookies to all the holiday parties and my plate is the first to be empty.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces coconut, unsweetened
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel chips
  • 3/4 cup salted slivered almonds

How To Make coconut chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven 325. Add all ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix until all the ingredients are completely mixed. ( I find using the cutting in method works best)
  • Step 2
    Use a melon scoop and place on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. About 1/2 inch a part (The cookie won't spread.) form into a flat disk, using scoop to flatten the mixture as you go.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, and the coconut begins to turn golden brown. Let cool on cookie tray about 5 minutes. Store in air tight containers .
