- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup dark chocolate baking chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Cream butter and sugars in large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add cocoa and milk.

Step 3Combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Add to cocoa mixture to combine. Fold in dark chocolate chips.

Step 4Roll dough into tablespoon sized balls and slightly flatten on ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks.
