This is my fall version of Chess Bars. These turned out with a soft chewy bottom layer and a creamy warm cinnamon-spice topping.
They smell so good while baking.

Ingredients

1 boxspice cake mix

4 largeeggs, divided

1/2 cbutter, melted

2 tspvanilla

1 pkgcream cheese (8 oz), softened

3 cpowdered sugar

3/4 tspcinnamon

3/4 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspginger
How to Make Cinnamon Spice Chess Bars
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine cake mix, 1 egg, butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla in bowl and mix well. Batter will be very thick. Spread in prepared 9x13 inch pan sprayed with non stick cooking spray.
- Combine remaining 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, cream cheese and powdered sugar in bowl and beat well. Reserve 3/4 cup batter.
