cinnamon frosted flake cookies
This recipe came about from my love of cinnamon. They are best eaten within 2-3 days. Mine usually do not last more than that in our house. If you love cinnamon, you will love these cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 4 cups cinnamon frosted flakes (crushed)
How To Make cinnamon frosted flake cookies
-
Step 1Mix butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs together until well mixed. (I like to use my Kitchen Aid for the first 3 steps).
-
Step 2In a separate bowl sift together the baking powder, baking soda and flour.
-
Step 3Slowly add in the flour mixture to the wet mixture. (Keep Kitchen Aid on low speed as to not throw flour mixture out of the mixing bowl).
-
Step 4Remove Mixture bowl from kitchen aid and hand fold in the Cinnamon Frosted Flakes.
-
Step 5Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a 1" cookie scoop, or teaspoon, place cookies on cookie sheet about 2" apart.
-
Step 6Bake at 350° for 9-11 mins.
-
Step 7Once out of oven, place on cookie rack to cool.
