Another low fat and low sugar sweets!!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter equals 1 stick of butter
  • 3 - egg whites, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • SUGAR GLAZE
  • 1 1/2 cups powder sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make cinnamon flats

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg in medium bowl. Cut in butter until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Beat in 2 or the egg whites and vanilla mix with hands to form soft dough.
  • Step 2
    Divide dough into 6 equal pieces place on greashed 15by10 jelly roll pan. Press dough evenly to edges of pan using hands,
  • Step 3
    smooth top of dough. Mix remaining egg white and water in small cup. brush over dough. Lightly score dough into 2x2 inch square.
  • Step 4
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned and firm when lightly touched. While still warm, cut where you scored earlier. let cool a little and drizzle with sugar glaze. Let stand 15 minutes more before removing from pan.
  • Step 5
    FOR GLAZE: combine all ingredents from above for glaze and if too thick add more milk.
